How do I Secure my Date?
To reserve your desired picnic date a 50% deposit is required or you can pay in full when booking. All deposits are (non-refundable) & will be applied towards your booking total. The remaining balance for your luxury picnic reservation must be paid in full (5 days) prior to the scheduled date that you selected. The credit card on file will be charged. We will email you the exact location when you book your event in the confirmation email. If you have a party larger than 6, or an unlisted desired location, or planning something extra special, submit a custom inquiry form!

How far in advance should I book my picnic?
(5 days) in advance is the minimum amount of time needed to make a reservation. You can book up to 12 months in advance. Remaining balance is due within (5 days) prior to the scheduled date that you selected. For special event dates, large event & custom event dates, please book at a minimum of 7 days in advance. This gives us time to save your date and tailor your special event to your needs & to your liking. Message us for inquiries about last minute bookings!

Can I book a picnic earlier than your 5-day grace period?
Yes, it is possible to book a rushed picnic if there is availability to do so. The earliest we can host a picnic is two days from the moment we are notified and available. All rushed picnics will be charged a $40 rush fee on top of the package and add-ons selected. If you wish to book a Rush Picnic please email BAECATION and title your subject “Rushed Picnic” in order to receive a response promptly.
Can I make changes to my picnic after booking?
Changes to bookings must be made aware 5 days prior to the scheduled picnic. Any reduction in booking add-ons, guest count, or package reductions can not be fulfilled after 5 days and a refund cannot be given.

What if something gets damaged or stained?
We charge a replacement fee of up to $100 for any item broken, stained, or damaged. The contact for the reservation will be notified and the credit card on file will be charged.
What if I show up late?
Your reservation time is already booked & paid for in full. As a result you only have whatever time is left on the time slot of your booking reservation. If our schedule allows, additional time can be added to your picnic for a fee per 30 minutes.
What happens if the weather is bad on my scheduled picnic reservation date?
We know that weather can be very unpredictable however We cannot control nor be held responsible for any weather issues that may arise. If a bad turn in weather puts a damper on your event date, we will reschedule your picnic for a future date. Always be prepared to plan according to any weather issues such as humidity, rainfall, strong winds, or any cold and hot temperatures. Please note, we do not issue refunds for booking deposits. You may give your reservation date away to someone else just be sure to inform us.
Can I leave my picnic unattended?
We ask that all picnic guests reframe from leaving the set-ups unattended to prevent any theft or damages caused by another 3rd party entity. Guests are fully responsible for all picnic equipment throughout their scheduled booking.

Can we have a picnic in our home or backyard?
We love backyard picnics! Picnics at private locations are the best way to create an intimate and truly unique experience!
Reschedule Policy?
If you wish to reschedule your picnic, you are permitted 1 free schedule change 5 days before your reservation date. Your full payment will be credited to your new date. After your (1) complimentary reschedule reservation date, your picnic will be canceled and the cancellation policy applies. Any Rescheduling request made in less than 5 days from your original reservation date will be charged an additional $40 “Late Reschedule Fee”. If you do not notify us to reschedule and miss your picnic, we will take that as a no show and will not provide a rescheduling opportunity.

Should I leave a tip for my picnic stylist?
Tips are welcome to your discretion.
Cancellation Policy?
All initial 50% down payments are (non-refundable). A full refund of your second payment can be issued to you as long as you cancel 5 days prior to your reservation date. In order to receive a refund (minus non-refundable deposit) you must notify us. If you need to cancel in less than our 5-day grace period then clients will be charged a $55 cancellation fee. This charge will go towards the second payment that was submitted for your booking. The remaining balance will be refunded and can take 3-7 business days to show back in your bank account. No refunds or cancellations will be allowed within a 48 hour (2-day) window of the picnic date. Please let us know as soon as possible if your scheduled date no longer works for you.
What if additional guests show up?
Any guests not included as part of your original guest count are welcome, but won’t have a place setting or a meal. If you would like to pay for additional guests to be accommodated let us know 48 hours in advance.
What are your safety / COVID standards?
All picnic items are washed and disinfected thoroughly after each use. All tabletop items are handled with gloves. Please note any additional safety accommodation request when booking your event.
